Hi, I’m Veronica (she/her).
I’m a queer, straight-passing, no sabo Mexican American and Native American therapist — and someone who knows what it’s like to never quite feel like you belong.
I work with folks who live at the intersections — queer and BIPOC people navigating identity, complex trauma, and survival in bodies that have always had to stay alert. Folks who’ve learned to explain, to translate, to blend in — even in the spaces meant to hold them.
Anxiety might be your baseline — not because something’s wrong with you, but because your body has always been working overtime to protect you.
My work is relational, somatic, and rooted in liberation. I use modalities like brainspotting, mindful body attunement, and parts work to go beneath the surface — because healing doesn’t just happen through insight. It happens through felt safety, nervous system regulation, and being witnessed without needing to shrink or explain yourself.
I believe your body carries wisdom, your survival makes sense, and your healing should honor both.
You don’t have to translate here. You don’t have to perform.
You just get to be.
